  • How do we obtain our marriage license?
If your ceremony is taking place in the state of North Carolina, then your license must be obtained from a NC Register of Deeds. You can go to any Register of Deeds in the state, and both parties need to bring a valid photo identification and Social Security Cards. The cost of a marriage license is $60, plus $10 for your certificate (which is usually mailed to you once your license has been filed by me). All of these details will be covered in depth in your welcome email :)
  • We're actually having a big wedding. Will you still officiate it?
Starting in 2024, I will no longer be taking large-scale productions. I am only taking bookings for elopements at this time.
  • What do we need to bring?
You must bring your marriage license. Oh and don't forget your rings! Other than that, feel free to bring any other items that you want to be present or that are being incorporated into your ceremony.
  • What other services do you provide?
Day-of yoga and meditation classes, Day-of Coordination (by the hour), Witnesses, Rehearsal attendance. If you're looking for the other vendor elements for your elopement or wedding, I have many amazing connections to wedding planners, videographers, and photographers, and I'm happy to connect you with them upon request!
  • Do we get to meet you beforehand?
I am always happy to have a virtual meeting to get to know each other + answer any questions! If it's possible for all of us, I will never turn down a coffee date.
  • Will you officiate for LGBTQ+ couples?
Absolutely! Love is love and this is a safe space. Need other wedding vendors that are a safe space too? I got you. Just let me know and I will send you all of the recommendations!
  • What are your rates?
Please shoot me an email using the contact form and I will gladly send you my price sheet!
  • We don't know how to write vows, can you help us??
Absolutely. I am always happy to give my perspective on vow writing to make the process easier for you. If you still feel stumped or just prefer not to write your own vows, I will gladly provide vows for you.
